Gridley is home to over 300 residents, and is located on Highway 58 in the eastern part of Kansas in Coffey County. A few miles to the west begin the beautiful and scenic Flint Hills, to the south are the hills of the Osage Prairie, and to the north are John Redmond Reservoir and Melvern Lake.

Trash Rates Increase
According to the agreement with Republic Services, an increase to trash services is 4.0% based on the consumer price index for trash. This would bring the residential rate paid to Republic Services to $18.01. All entities outside city limits will increase by 4.0% the new rate will start at $20.81 Commercial and large cart entities outside city limits will increase by 6.0%
